Performed by the theatre of the Lycee Franco-Japonais together with the Chanteclair Orchestra and Choir, under the direction of Marguerite France in the gardens and salons of the French Residency in Tokyo.

6th September, Lecture held by Marguerite France in Okinawa: “What is French Music ?” from Lully to Ravel, on the elegance of sonorities (sponsored by AFJAM).

October 18th, Concert for piano with four hands given by Kiyomi and Yukihisa Monden, with the participation of Marguerite France (violin and viola), at the Auditorium de la Maison Franco-Japonaise.

October 19th, Second AFJAM Concert in celebration of the Annee de la France: Choreographic performance of Saint-Saens fantasy “Carnival of the Animals,” and Serge Prokofiev’s “Peter and the Wolf” with the corps de ballet “Hiroko Muse Troupe,” and the “Collegium Academicum Chanteclair,” under the direction of Marguerite France. Performed at the Komaba Eminence.

November 13th, Master-classes in violin, viola, and cello given by the “Trio Euterpe,” followed by a concert by the Trio Euterpe at the Auditorium de la Maison Franco-Japonaise, on the occasion of the l’Orchestre de Paris’ tour of Japan of which the trio is a member. Works by Pierne, Pleyel, Roussel, Desenclos, and Jean Francaix.

December 13th, “La Musique Royale Francaise:” Concert with Stephen Part (oboe) and Francoise Marmin (harpsichord) at the Auditorium de la Maison Franco-Japonaise in Tokyo. Works by Bach, Couperin, Marais, and Marchand…
